Nerve Fag.
If You Waste Your
Nerve Energy, After
Awhile You Will
Suffer For It.
You can waste nerve force by excess,
ever-work, worry, anxiety, etc.
You can weaken yourself by not eating
proper food or securing sufficient rest to
renew the nerve energy you use up.
The proper treatment, in addition to
good phosphatic food, such as whole
meal bread, prepared cereals, etc., is
Dr. Miles' Restorative Nervine.
This is as truly a brain and nerve
food as any food you could eat, and be-
aides, furnishes strength and tone of its
•wn, -which goes to the weakened nerve
■ystem, and sets it to rights.
Dr. Miles' Restorative Nervine is a re-
freshing, revitalizing tonic food-medicine
for the brain and nerves. It reconstructs
worn-out nerve tissue, and fills your
languid brain with new life and vigor.
Dr. Miles' Nervine has made so many
marvelous cures, of people so sick the
doctors thought they were Incurable,
that it is today the standard medicine
in many thousands of American homes.
The first bottle is guaranteed to help
you, or druggist returns your money.
"The extreme heat, close confinement
and intense mental strain incident to
the banking business, has caused m«
to suffer with nervousness and insom-
nia. It gives me pleasure to say that
I have used Dr. Miles' Nervine with
very satisfactory results in the treat-
ment of these affections. I am now on
my fifth bottle, and eat and sleep well.
In fact have almost forgotten that I
possess nerves."—R. DAI.BY, Asst.
Cashier, State Eank, Texarcana, Ark.

T. D. Turner of Oklahoma City Urges
Hobart to Uet the Road
it Possible,
T. D. Tamer of Oklahoma City, pree
ident of the Chamber of Commerce of
that city, has been here for the past
two days looking after his wholesale
house, the Tui tier Produce Co.
Mr. Turner is one of the progressive
men of the territory who believes in do-
ing things—in creating opportunities
for the upbuilding of a town. Ha is of
that type of men who have made Okla-
homa City what she is.
While here he was greatly interested
in the proposition of securing the Ori
ent, and advised the people to make
the effort of their lives to secure it,
showing them wherein it would be to
their interest to do so.
His opinion is that with that road
the future of the town is assured; that
it would in a few years have three times
the population that she now has.
As soon as the road is assured, he
said property here will advance two or
three hundred percent, and that he
himself will become an investor in Ho-
bart real estate just the minute the as-
surance has been given that the road
will be built through this city.
Mr. Tdrner's views are shared by all
well informed men. He sees and knows
from experience that truuk line rail'
ways are town builders, and that no
town without railways or waterways to
support it can ever compete with those
that are thus favored.
More Holiday Goods Sold This Year
Than Ever Before Plenty of
Money the Cause.
The only thing that keeps the Christ-
mas shopper from Hobart is rain. The
unceasing downpour that visited this
county Tuesday shut off trade for the
time, but when the sun reappeared the
next day the town was swarming with
people from every part of the country,
notwithstanding tho roads, on account
of mud, were almost impassable. Every
day since the crowds have continued to
visit the numerous places where Christ-
mas goods are kept for sale.
The present indications are that more
b'liday goods will be sold this year
than during any two preceding years.
The reason is obvious. In the tirst
place, the people have plenty of money.
The farmers raised large crops and sold
their products at good prices, therefore
they have money with which to pur^
chase not only the necessaries of life,
but luxuries as well.
Another reason for the large trade
Hobart enjoys is due to the former ad
vertising she has done. The people for
miles around know they can get from
our merchants anything tbey want.
Large stocks of tho best goods at the
cheapest prices are here, and the people
like to trade where they can have an
assortment to choose from. These
things combined have been in favor of
oar merchants, and as a result they are
selling more goods than ever before.

Torture of a Preacher.
The story of the torture of Rev. 0. D.
Moore, pastor of the Baptist church of
Harpersville, N, V., will interest you.
He says: "I suffered agonies because of
a persistent cough, resulting from the
grip. I had to sleep sitting up in bed. I
tried many remedies without relief un-
til I took Dr. King's New Discovery for
consumption, coughs aud colds, which
entirely cured my cough and saved me
from consumption." A grant} cure for
diseased conditions of throat and lungs.
At all druggists; price 50c and $1 guar-
anteed; trial bottle free.
MEETS WITH APPROVAL.
The proposition of 0. P. Sturtn to
send a special train to Washington
early nexii yoa', having on board 100 or
200 young ladies from the two territo-
ries as speciil envoys to work in be-
half of single statehood, is meeting .vith
much favor, so,much in fact that the
young ladies of our city are becoming
enthusiastic over t'ua question.
Ooe oi our most popular young la-
dies, Miss Naomi Perkins, has already
signilied her willingness to accompany
tne excursionists and represent Hoaart
at the national capital. She would
make an excellent representative and
would be a credit to the city. We
could do no better than to send her as
our envoy.
