Announcement
We wish to announce a change in management
for the Western Lumber & Hardware Co. at
Carter, Mr. Joe S. Rogers taking the place of
Mr. W. C. Williams.
Id making the change we heartily thank our
many patrons for their trade during the time ,
that Mr. Williams has been in charge of the
business here; and we cordially invite all to
call around and meet Mr. Rogers, who wishes
to enjoy a liberal patronage of the people of
the Carter territory.

Xmas Dinner
A number of relatives and
friends met at the pretty coun-
try home of R. L. Ward, Xmas
day. At noon a real feast was
spread.
In the afternoon the program
was changed by Willie Cooper
and Dora Ward, being married,
by Bro. Quaid, the Methodist
minister of Indian Creek; in the
presence of the crowd. All the
brothers and sisters were pres-
ent. Mrs. Minnie Allen of Ca-
nadian, Texas, came in one week
ago. There were about 34 in all.

Change Managers
A chang# jias been made in the
management of the Western
Lumber & Hardware CoV busi-
ness here. Mr. Joe S. Rqgers,
of Ardmore, takes the place of
Mr. W. C. Williams, who goes
back to Oklahoma City.
This company has enjoyed a
good business during the time
that Mr. Williams has been in
charge which is shown by the
fine building and other improve-
ments that have been put in du-
ring the last two years.
Mr. Rogers, the new manager,
is a very pleasant gentleman and
will uo doubt bold and continue
a good business for his company.
