Butler and the contest of Welsh Is
dismissed and Butler held to be
qualified homestead entryman. This
case is very important to many set-
tlers in Kay county by reason of the

Wm. Sbrader, an unsophisticated
German, living southeast of the city,
was arrested far perjury the other day

Commissioner Jecko. His bond was
pla cd at $250, but not being able to
secure a satisfactory bond at once
Judge Jecko issued a commitment
with the understanding that Deputy
Marshal Butner would give the man
all day yesterdav to procure his b nd
Dutner didn't do anything but jerk
the defendant in a buggy and hur-
riedly start for Guthrie, for no other
purpose but to hog his mileage. To
day the bond has been made satislac-
torv; now Shrader will have to walk
home or spend money to get borne,
putner's mileage and other costs In
