At a meeting of the business

ning the proposition of a cele-
bration or rather a carnival, for
May this summer was discussed
and it met with the general ar-
oval of all.
Tk’e time for the big doing?.
| was set for Friday and Saturday,
August 27 and 28. A committee
was appointed to make the ar-
rangements and map out the
program, which they promise
will be a good one.
This means that May is to
have two days of merry-making
with alt kinds of amusements.
As May did not celebrate the 4th
let everybody turn in and make
these two days the banner dac s
of northwest Oklahoma. Let
everybody prepare to come to
May on these two days and have
a good time.
The committee assures us
there will be plenty of amuse-
ments and that neither time
nor money will be spared to
make this a success.
Watch for further announce-
ments.
