D. M. Thomas an old and respected
resident of this city died tills after-
noon at 1:10 after a prolonged Ill-
ness. The funeral will be held Mon-
day afternoon at 2:30 from the fam-
ily residence at 1115 South Rock 1b- |
loud, and the services will be con-
ducted by Kev. A. W. Bridges under
the auspices of the G. A. R. Inter-
ment will take place In the El Reno
cemetery.
Mr Thomas was a veteran of the
Civil War and had long been a resi-
dent of th's city, where he was res-
pected by ail who had the pleasure of
his acquaintance. He waB an earnest
worker In G. A. R. Circles and was
at one time Adjutant of the local
post. The deceased tyaB born April
6 1838 and was over 75 years of age
at the time of his death. A loving
wife four sons and one daughter are
left to mourn his loss.
