Our real estate dealers are per-
fecting an organization licro that
will benefit the city of Anadarko
and the county of Caddo more than
any organization that has been or-
ganized here. The oflicera elected
the folowing year are: A. J. Perry
Chairman Mr. lteece Vice Chair-
man Mr. Plum Secretary and Ed
Williams Treasurer. Iho execut
ive board is Messrs. Price Vivion
and Robinson. The organization
will work in harmony with the
Commercial Club to advertise our
city. It is being organized on
strictly business lines and will be a
great benefit to property owners as
it will protect them from sharks
and scalpers and parties buying
property will be perfectly safe in
dealing with any members of the
organization. We will give a full
write up of this organization as
soon as we get the space.

RESERVE LAND
Nearly Half a Million of
Acres m New Counties
Embraced
An avalanche uf telegrams have
been pouring into the White House
for and against the appointment of
Conkling for judge. The Okla-
homan correspondent predicts the
appointment of Gillette this week.
The committee on public lands re-
ported favoribly on the bill to amend
laws regarding the disposition of
funds from town lots of Lawton
Anadarko and Hobart. The total
amount is 1730000 that has been
derived from the sale of these lots.
Of this amount the "bill provides
that Lawton shall receive the sum
pf $150000 Anadarko 100000
Hobart $50000 for the purpose of
putting in public improvements
An effort was made to get the bill
B palled up for consideration but it.
failed.
A resolution introduced by Dele
gate Flynn providing for the publi-
cation of 5000 extra copies of the
Report of the governor was passed
today.

The postofUeo department is ad-
vertising for bids for carrying the
mail from Binger by way of Ison
to Anadarko a distance of 20 miles
six times a week as follows:
Leave Binger daily except Sun-
day at 0 a. m. arrivo Anadarko by
12 a. in. leave Anadarko at 1 p. in.
arrive at Binger by 7 p. m. Bids
will be received up to May 17 1002

Washington D. C.April 24 The
house committee on Indian affairs
to day reported a bill opening to
settlement 400000 acres of the
Kiowa Comanche and Apache lands
in Oklahoma. Tho opening is to
occur within three mouths after
tho law goes into effect and tho lands
arc to bo taken under the general
provisions of the homestead laws.
