Prof Droke of the state university
of Arkansas at Fayettoville is in the
city in the interest of that school and
made tills office a pleasant call.

The town is out of sugar. The
dealers claim it is caused by the yel-
low fever in the south any way there
is a sugar famine here and it is very
probable that you will have no sugar

o'clock Sunday. Dr. Watson lias re-
turned and will preach at the Metho
dist church. Union services will be
at t he Methoaist church Sunday even

A sick man arrived here Thursday
night from Miami. He said the mayor
of Miami sent him here and when he
arrived lie was too sick to walk. Mar-
sheal Ridenhour securd a bed for the
sick man and cared him until Friday
night when purchased a ticket and
sent him home.
