to be held at the Catholic Church
all this week opened Tuesday
night conducted by Kev. Father
Von der Eerden of St. Loots in-
sisted by Rev. Father Urban rec-
tor of tbe pariib witb a very fair
crowd in attendance. BVev. Fa' tier
Van tier Eerden proaubea most in-
teresting sermons explaining the
mission and purpose of Catholi-
cism and tells many profitable
and beneficial facts concerniog tbe
church and its work for Christian-
ity. Father Von der Eerdeu la s
most interesting talkei.and pos-
sess fund of general informa-
tion which bas been added to by
years of travel and study. He bas
a most entertaining delivery and
it is a pleasure to listen to bim
speak. Those who have beard
him are both pleased snd delight-
ed aud wiil no doubt go again and
take their fiiends.

another at 0. At 7:45 p. m. .

are held and goo.' music is a fea-
ture of the services. All are in-

The case of Territory vs. Snel'
for murder lias been occupying
tbe bitemioii of the United States
district court the past two days
and a verdict will probubly be
reached tonight or tomorrow

named Sol Hart on Line ( ' vek on

iug the outcome of a quarrel over
a trivial matter. Snell's plea is
self defeats and bis cane is in tbe
bauds of two splendid ctimiual
lawyers who will secure a verdict
of acquittal If such a thing is pos-
sible under the evidence. Every
inch of ground is being stubborn
ly contested as Snell is lighting
for bis life or liberty. The trial is
attracting considerable attention
and the court room crowded
with spectators.

ry for which will be shipped here
from Oorsicaua as soon as the
building is ready to receive it.
Mr. Lea has selected tbe lot
just notrb of the Cbickasha Sash
and Door Co. warehouse as a loca-
tion for bis mill. He has purchas
d it and ia now drawing plans for
ibe erection of a structure 60x80
feet which will be a modem up to
date planing mill in every way.
r. Lea will also add considerable
new machinery to bis already com
plete plant and expects to be
ready for business within a moutb.

done. Mr. Lea's family bas arriv-

credit to its owner and to tbe
town.
Mr. Robberts the music man
and piano salesman is taking a
swing around the crcle this week
and visiting several different
towns contiguous to Cbickasha in
:he interest of fat business. Mr.

he gets on tbe track of a piano sale
