AN ORDINANCE Licensing and Con
trolling in the City of Ardmore
Certain occupations professions
and piiyileges in the City of Ard-
more. Be it Ordained by the City Council
of the City of Ardmore:
Section l. mat it snail do ni-
awful for any person to engage in
uxercise or pursue any of the follow-
ing avocations professions or privi-
leges within the corporate limits of
the city of Ardmore without having
first obtained and paid tor a license
therefor from the proper city au-
thorities and having paid for the
same in gold silver or umtea states
currency the amount of which li-
cense fee or tax shall be as follows
to-wit:
Sec. 2. For each lemonade or
cold drink stand upon any street.
alley or sidewalk 11 pr montn.
Sec. 3. The exercise of the voca
tion privileges or professions men
tloned in this ordinance without first
having obtained and paid the tax or
license fee provided tor Dy tnis oral
nance or to pursue or exercise any
of the same on any street alley or
sidewalk within said corporate lim
its contrary to this ordinance shall
be unlawful and any person so ex-
ercising any of the same shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof in the
mayor's court be fined in any sum
not to exceed twenty-five (126) dol-
lars. Sec. 4. The provisions of this or-
dinance shall become operative and
in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication.

many religious and historical sub
jects from the creation down. The
upper three stories are ornamented
with spiral shafts and carved mold
ings and the whole is built in alter
nate courses of black and white
marble the contrasting tints of
which have been mellowed and aoft-
