The coant of the votes in oar
great Popular Voting Contest to
gee which of the young ladies
wins the Special Premium of Ten
Dollars in Uold was set for the
Afternoon of November 15 and as
the paper goes to press Wednes-
day night it is impossible to give
the figures this week.
Some of the young ladies seem
to have the idea that the rotes
which are counted in the contest
for this Special Premium will l>e
lost on the Contest for the Piano.
Such is not the case as tin
ballots will be returned to the
ballot box after they are counter
aud will be recounted Deoeinbei
15 and another Speoial Premium
awarded.
The fin d couut will be made
about Jauuary 15 aud tbe Piano
given to the most Popular Young
Lady. It is possible for the
same peisou to win both Special
Premiums and the Piano too. It
is impossible for any one to win
any of the prizes without an
effort. Several of the young
ladies are working like beavers
and all must do so to win.

The Thricc-a-Weok World, now
tha* a great presidential cam-
paign is foreshadowed, hopes to
be a better paper than it has over
been before, ami it 1ms made its
arrangements accordingly. Its
news service covers the entiie
globe, aud it reports everything
fully, promptly and accurately.
It is the only newspaper, not a
daily, which is as good as a daily,
and which will keep you as com-
pletely informed of what is hap-
pening throughout the world.
The Thrice-n- Week World is
fair in its political reports. You
can get the truth from its enlutnun,
whether jou aro republican or
democrut, and that is what you
want.
A special feature of the Thrice-
a-Weok World has always been
its seriul fiction. Tt publishes
novels-by the best authors in the
world, novels which iu boo’: form
sell for $1 GO apiece, and its high
stnn(hud in this respect will be
maintained ill the future as in the
past. TheTliiiee.-a-Woek World’s
regular ftiihseriptiou price is only
$1.00 per year, and this pays for
156 papers. We oiler this nn-
