ELECTRO!
THE ELECTION.
The election hat* come and gone
and with it the democrats have
recorded a small, hut not a unani-
mous victory in this county. The
total vote polled is very light and
will hut little more Ilian exceed
two-thirds of the actual vote of
the county. The tires in the south
part of the county on Tuesday and
the new and difficult election law
are in the main, responsible for the
light vote in this county, and will
throw the county several hundred
votes short of her total of two years
ago.
The hardest fought and closest
vote on any office in the county was
that of Sheriff, which will take the
official count to decide whether
Dickerson or Trousdale is elected.
For treasurer, Durham is elected
hy a good majority over MoColgan.
Jennings is elected probate judge,
Southgate clerk, Ramsey register
of deeds, and the rr.ee for snperin
tendeul will he close between Car
penter and Allen. Pitman is elect-
ed county attorney. The race for
commissioners is very close be-
tween the republicans and demo
erats in the three districts and it
will take the official count to de-
termine the results.
As we go to press the returns
are not ail in and wo will not at
tempt to give figures until next
week, when we w ill give the offi-
cial count.
Our Next Delegate to Congress.

Mis. ( arrie C hapman ( tit,chair- Hence it iaabold, an almost startling
mat of the organization committee claim, (a claim never before dared to bq
of the National Suffrage associa made for any remedy,) that Brazilian
lion, and Miss Mary tt. Hay, secre- Balm, alone, will positively cure Typhoid
tary of the committee, will be pres-

Mis, Celt will speak both evenings.

A Kotentiflo Kamady.
For a long time Brazilian Balm was s
puzzle to the doctors. It cured so many
diseases that aeetned contrary to each
other—diseases which were auppos: d
to require a directly opposite treatment.
The secret wr.s at last revealed when it
was discovered that the Balm is a. most
potent germicide; that it kills disease
germs or microbe* in any part of i.hf
system. This discovery proved that its
cures were purely scientiuc and in har-
mony with the latest revelations cf
bscteriology. For nearly all verm dis-
eases, as Catarrh, Hay Fever, Consump-
tion, Dyspepsia, Typhoid and bcarlct
Fever, Piles, Measles, Chicken pox,
Rheumatism, Mumps, Lockjaw, and
other germ diseases attended with in-
flammation and fever, it has proved it-
self for 10 years a perfect and reliable
antidote, >
TYPHOID BACILLUS.
Fever in any stagt. This great discov-
ery was the result of a woman’s faith.
Mrs. L. B. Bradway, of Wilmington, Del.,
believed the Balm would do almost any-
thing. Hence she gave it in b drop
doses, every three to five minutes, to a
young lady in the last stage of Typhoid.
Bhe had been given up by the doctor,
who said she could not live half an
hour. To the surprise of all she quick-
ly revived and recovered. Since then
it has been used lo hymen, nurses and
physicians with uniform nuccest. How
It cures was then a mystery; but it is
now fully settled that it promptly de-
stroys every Typhoid bacillus in th*
system. It staunches tho hemorihagu,
heals the whole alimentary track, and,
instead of the slow, tedious convales-
cence, restores to health and strength
with surprising rapidity. In short, it
fills every condition of a perfect antidote
for Typhoid. Trexttnenf: Give 10 drops
every ii* minutes while the fever ragea,
and once au hour when the fever is off,
and give nothing else. During con-
valescence give 8 or 4 times a day. To
pravant Typhoid give tvery hour.
