Secretary Eastin in his weekly re-
port stated that his office had been
visited by an encouraging number of
farmers during the week either in
searrh of a market or to consult him
upon growing certain crop for the
fall market and that he had shipped
out 175 bushel baskets of peaches to
date and expected to ship 200 more
baskets within a few days He also
reported the negotiation of a car of
potatoes for another grower to a St
Iouis buyer who instructed Mr
Eastin to draw for advanced pay-
ment when car was ready to roll

organization of a Holstein Calf Club
ir which he had already enrolled seven
members and that the first shipment
of calves would -'arrive about June

In this connection the secretary
asks that every merchant prevail
npon the farmer to fall at the club

tican when Father Wallace pointed
out Cardinal Merry Del Val's resi-

gested a Philadelphia lad serving

their claim to call by the fact that
the cardinal had visited America and
this- would be in the nature of a re-
