NEW OFFICE BUILDING
It is said that a three story office
bui'ding will be built at once on the
corner of Seventh and Main
This would answer a crying need
for more office room in town A men
in position to know remarked recent-
ly that a hundred office rooms could
be rented here in a week — if only
they were available Now to make a
large office building available will
be to confer a favor on the public
the town and incidentally turn a

WORKERS ALL CLASSES
TALK OF ORGANIZING
By Associated Press
HONOLULU T H Jan 19—
Workers of all races in Hawaii are
considering an international organi-
zation among the rank and file to he
known as the United Workers of Ha-
waii with the aim of readjusting the
trade unions in Hawaii and building
up an industrial form of organization
that will unite in one body all the
wage workers without discrimination
as to sex race creed craft or color
and gaining a direct voice in the j
management of industry according to
the preamble to the constitution be-
ing voted on by the various bodies
“We believe that labor is entitlej
to a voice in the management of in-
dustry and has a right to determine
rlo conditions under which it shall
function to the end that it shall re-
ceive the full value of what it pro-
duces” the preamble continues “We
desire to co-operate to the fullest
extent with the various national and
internal hral trad bairns and with
the American Federation of Labor
but we call attention to the fact that
conditions in Hawaii are different
from those on the mainland or in any
other country and we insist that we
are the besTuagevof'our own lieens
and of the tactics to be followed to
secure the ends we have in view”
The objects of the organization are
stated as:
“To bring within the folds of one
central organization all human be-
ings who are engaged in the neces-
sary work of society
“To bring about class-consciousness
and solidarity among the work-
ing class
‘ “To educate the working class m
