The Hardens Hold Open House
Sunday On 60th Anniversary
Mr and Mrs 3 W Harden 81 and 75 respectively 704 East
Fourth Street will have an open house Sunday April 8 from 2 un-
til 7 p m for friends and relatives in honour of their sixieth wed-
ding anniversary
All the children of the Hardens and their families phi' to be pre-
sent for the occasion and have a family reunion It has been 10
years since they have all been together Some of the children will
arrive early in the week to have a longer visit All plan to attend
church together and have a family dinner at the noon hour Sunday
Mr and Mrs Harden were mar
tied April 12 1896 in Yale Ar- Women's Golf'
hansas They moved to Tian Ok-
lahoma anti then to Bristow in
1935 living on a farm east of tiw Club 11 leets
city until g few years ago when
Monday afternoon the Worn
Mr Harden retired and they

moved to their present address
"Attending church together"
Mrs Harden said "helped to
make our 60 yr rtrreirrtyarrted life
hlippy and a success' We had AA
children and taught them to at-
Rnd church and Sunday School"
she continued "for I believe if
they go when they are small they
will continue in church work when
they are older" Mr Harden said
he "contributed their 60 years
tigether as being able to accept
the give and take rule of life"
Six of their 12 children are liv-
ing and plan to be present for
the reunion and anniversary The
