Think on these things
by Joyce Hifler
Commitment, however scary
it may sound, is basic to success
in anything. People stand on
the brink of life for years,
waiting for some supernatural
thing to push them into a place
where they feel totally right.

we would be running in all di-

rections like mice caught in the
light. No one can give us abso-
lute assurance that they will
never fail us.
But commitment is a decision
to give all our effort and love
and determination to building a
strong foundation.
Fear of commitment is not so
much that someone will fail us
but that we will fail them. All
the time in the world will not
make us braver.
Help exists for us if we are
willing and want to be a part of
something so much that we
overcome what we feel and de-
cide what we shall be.

Heartfelt Thank You
The family of Frank Mundy Jr. would like to say thank you to all. We had no idea
that our son had touched so many lives.
• God had given us a precious gift 18-1/2 years ago, Frank (J.R.) Jr. He.was (most
always) a very polite, considerate young man. He loved to be involved in everything
he possibly could, from his love for the outdoors, animals, friends, family and most
of all Kelly.
There were estimates of 850-1000 friends and family attending the services for the
kids. Out of all these was the most tremendous out-pouring. Food, food and more
food, flowers any gardener would love to tend. Those who stepped in and took
charge when we couldn't, keeping the house in order and answering the phones.
Also for finances in so many different ways as well as donations to medical research
foundations. Especially for the love and many, many prayers that were felt then and
even now.
To Johnson's for the special care given to our children. For all those who
participated in the services. J.R. would've taken his hat off to you.
The W.M.'s of our church along with a number of others who prepared a fabulous
meal. To the Elks Lodge for the facilities to accommodate us all.
The gentlemen who stood out in the extreme cold with tears on their faces to park
cars and direct traffic. For the use of Tommy Javellas' front yard for over-flow
parking. The use of the highway shoulders also. To Alco for allowing cars to be
parked there and the shuttle bus drivers who transported those to the church.
There were so many who responded to the accident. From the neighbors to the first
vehicles upon the scene to the first responders, fire fighters and rescue. Ambulance
drivers, wreckers, state highway people. Some of these were his own co-workers to
family members.
The staff at the hospital who were under such unrelenting pressures of the evening
events. The support of even those who shared a loss of their own that night.
There are no true words or actions that would ever repay all you have done for us.
But, we do wish to say Thank You to all. We will pray for you as you have for us. "The
hurt we feel will ease with time," we are told. This we will have to wait and see. But
there is a smile in our heart for we know that Frank and Kelly are with God in Heaven
and we will some day see them again.
Thank You
/ Onai
