Recuperating dad
is a pain at home
By Meg Whitcomb
DEAR MEG - My father just
came home from the hospital follow-
ing an almost fatal heart attack He
was in intensive care for three weeks.
During that time my mother and 1 got
along fine. We pulled together, took
turns cleaning the house, washing the
car and spending time with Dad..
But now that Dad is home things
are taking a bad turn He had to quit

DEAR POLLY - I finally figured
out what to do with the tangle of
string in my toolbox I put each ball of
string in a zipper-opening type of
plastic freezer bag and zip it almost
closed, leaving just enough room for
an end to dangle out Makes the string
visible, easy to use, and tangle-free. I
would think this method would work
well for yarn, too. — PATRICIA
