Add Rylee Bellmon to Superintendent’s Honor Roll
Rylee Bellmon, a freshman at Perry High School,
achieved listing on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for
the first semester of the 2010-201 1 school year.
Her name was omitted from the list of honor roll stu-
dents that appeared in the Friday, Jan. 28 issue of the Perry
Daily Journal.
Expected winter storm closes OSU campuses
Because of the major w inter storm expected to hit
the state Monday night. Oklahoma State University
made the decision to close its Stillwater and Tulsa
campuses Tuesday, Feb. I. All classes and activities,
including a scheduled career fair, are canceled or post-
poned and offices will be closed Tuesday. All sched-
uled bus routes, including BOB runs to Tulsa, will be
canceled on Tuesday.
OSU will continue to monitor the weather and make

Bowl Bar-B-Q Meal Deal on Sunday, Feb. 6.

The meeting of the PHS Class of 1971 scheduled for 1
Wednesday , Feb. 2, has been canceled.
Tuesday's Legion meeting canceled
The American Legion meeting set for 7 p.m. Feb. I has |
been canceled in anticipation of bad weather.

Perry Police, Noble County Sheriff activity: Friday
- caller was mumbling about getting into trouble for call
ing, officers responded, found everything OK, but subject
came in to the police station later, asking for a ride home;
Payne County warrants served, funeral escort requested,
officers held up by train, missed the procession; lire alarm
at a store w as an error; report of threats; report of theft of
ornaments left on a grave, property was restored to owner;
complaint of loud music; report of a lire was verified to
be a controlled burn; officer requested to check a business
for a burning candle; officer requested regarding threats
and vandalism; report of a car surrounded by beer bottles
on a dirt road; nine traffic stops resulting in three verbal
warnings, three citations and two arrests; three field inter-
rogations resulting in a citation: one animal call (request
for a cat trap). Booked into jail Nora May Catlett. 42, on a
district warrant for bogus check Joe Lust Clakely, 31. on
a district warrant for possession ol a controlled substance
and unlawful possession of paraphernalia. Mark Lefthand
