CHIROPRACTIC
OUTLOOK
By Dr. Jchn G. Carver
WHAT IS
SUBLU NATION?
Chiropractic treatment
aims to correct subluxa-
tion and misalignment —
the improper positioning
of one or more segments
of the spine, the center of
the body to which all oth-
er parts are attached.
The spinal cord that runs
between the vertebrae
surrounds the nerves
that control every action
of the body.
When a vertebra is out
of line, relative to the
vertebra above or below
it, it usually pinches one
of the openings through
which the nerves thread
out of the spinal cord on
their way to the rest of
the body. Result: pres-
sure on the nerve that in-
terferes with the nerve
impulses.
The purpose of chiro-
practice adjustment is to
move the misaligned
spinal segment back to
where it belongs, freeing
the nerve. Most impor-
tant: chiropractic is non-
invasive and drug-t .e.
