in a little under five hours in
the White Rock Marathon at
Dallas Sunday.
Kemnitz was among 3,000
runners in the 20th annual
running of the White Rock
Marathon. Each participant
received a 20th anniversary
medallion.
Kemnitz and a group of
Stillwater men traveled by
airplane Saturday to Dallas
for the event. They included
Rusty Shaw, Robert Hert
and Gary Gosney, all of
whom ran in the marathon,
and Jerry Carpenter, who
worked at one of the water
stations along the marathon
route.
