Q. When my husband and I
were divorced the court
ordered my husband to pay
child support to me for our
two boys. Later, we both
remarried. Can I still get
child support payments.
A. Child support payments
under Oklahoma law do not
revolve around the question of
whether the custodial parent
is married. The order that
was originally issued by the
Court setting out the amount
of child support to be paid for
your two minor sons should be
reviewed, as it remains in full
force and effect until modified
or until your two sons reach
the age of maturity.
non-exempt property of the

ing on assets before the same
judge to determine what
property the debtor may have
to satisfy the judgment. Also,
do not forget to file a certified
copy of the judgment with the
clerk of the county where the
debtor lives or owns real
property. This is a valid lien
upon such property which
must be satisfied before the ti-
tle could be cleared. You
must, however, attempt to en-
force your judgment within
five years of obtaining it, or it
will become ineffective.
Q. I recently won a judgment
in a small claims court, but
the other side still will not
pay. What is the advantage of
having a judgment, anyway?
Because of the complexity of
the law, questions answered
in this column are of a
general nature and may not
necessarily apply to a similar
legal problem.

from military service.
• Clothier had been an employe
of former businesses, Tamac
Pottery and the Pride of Perry
Hour mill.
* With a dream of becoming a
fiddle player for as long as he can
remember, Clothier began play-
ing at age five. When he was 16
years old, Clothier formed his
own band, the Oklahoma
Travelers. /
He and his band traveled all
over the country for dances,
rodeos, fairs and other musical
engagements. For several years,
the group was headquartered in
California and traveled in the
western part of the United States
and had tours in Canada. Some
of the tours included backup
work for Lefty Frizzell and Da-
vid Frizzell.
A one-time band member,
Clothier recalls, was a young
guitar player named Glen Camp-
bell, who later went on to make
quite a name for himself as a
country music writer, singer and
picker.
Clothier says his main interest
in music always has been
western swing and his favorite
fiddle player was Bob Wills.
The past several years,
Clothier has been touring with a
combination of Wills’ former mu-
sicians. Perry musician Ashley
Alexander, recently joined
Clothier's band and others to pro-
duce an album, “The Jam Ses-
sion”, featuring some of the all-
time great Bob Wills selections.
Fans of western swing can
almost relive the days of Bob
Wills when Clothier walks
onstage with his Bob Wills hat
and cigar, playing hits as “San
Antonio Rose” and “Faded
Love.”

Subconscious Jobs
There are certain things that I can do only if I don’t pay at-
tention. Like grow all my fingernails to the same length. Or ar-
range a bowl of fruit. If I just dump it into a bowl from the grocery
bags it looks fine. If I ’arrange it’, there is always some banana
sticking out at an odd angle.
If I just sit down and do it, I can play a few songs on the piano,
recite the Gettysburg Address and crochet. But if I think about
it or if I try, it is gone like the name of that fellow you just saw
yesterday — you know, old what’s-his-name. Great artists must
work in a perpetual daze. Great teachers have somehow overcome
this problem.
The best time for these inattentive jobs is in the morning bet-
ween bed and the first cup of coffee. I can do more sit-ups if I am
not awake enough to realize how boring or silly it is. My internal
guidance will lead me directly to my glasses without hunting for
them. I can remember everything I’m supposed to do today and
everything I’m supposed to remind everyone else to do Sometime
after coffee and before the front door I forget.
The thing that I would really like to grab hold of is the secret
to making a good cup of coffee, but I never can remember it after
I wake up. It is something I do with my eyes half closed and my
clothes half on. It is something I do quickly before my feet freeze
or before someone beats me to the bathroom. There is something
special that I do to that first pot of coffee that makes it better than
any other during the day.
If only I was ever awake enough to remember what it is.
