SOLVING LOW-VISION
PROBLEMS
If you have a low vision
problem, your eye doctor
can recommend a number
of aids to help you have a
more visually normal life.
Low vision refers to sev-
eral levels of limited sight
that can interfere with a
person’s daily activities.
This includes the partially-

clearness or sharpness of
vision can not be corrected
beyond the 20/70 range.
Someone with 20/70 vision

vision can see at 70 feet.
After you have had your
vision tested by an optome-

Congress. Your eye doctor
can assist you in otbaining
these and many other serv-
ices that are available to
people with low-vision
problems.
There’s no need to suffer
with low-vision problems
when there are so many
ways your optometrist can
suggest to help you see
better and more comfort-
ably.
