Day In Annual
ports
Perry Kids Meet
Grade school boys took their
turn Friday earning honors at
the Perry stadium in the annual
Perry Kids Lions track meet.
The girls ran off their events
Thursday afternoon. Participa-
tion was near a record by local
youngsters in the long-standing
track meet sponsored by the
Lions.
The track meet was coor-
dinated by Mike Bullard, ath-
letic coach at Perry elementary
school. Bullard expressed his
personal thanks Saturday to a
host of volunteers who worked
until late in the evening running
off events through the long
rosters of entries. “We appre-
ciate all these people very
much,” said Bullard.
He said recognition and ap-
preciation should be extended to
volunteers, Mr. and Mrs. Phil
Musshafen, Mrs. Ann Bullard,
Coach Mike Hardy and his high
school track team boys, Coach
John Adams and his high school
track team girls, E. E. Luttrell,
