Band Busy
Garber Band students have been
busy since Spring Break with all
the activities that come with
STATE the end of the school year,
"That Garber Band" competed
at State Contest on April 7. The
band received a 11 in Concert
and a I in Sight-Reading.
Receiving Superior ratings in
Concert were Lexington, Beaver,
Carnegie and Comm erce. Re-
ceiving Excellent ratings were
Garber, Tonkawa, Mooreland,
Buffalo and Selling. Receiving
Ill's and IV’s were Fairview,
Bethany, Yale, Kansas and
lealdton.

Mrs. Minnie M aye Kerr visited
Mis. Elsie Semrad last Tuesday
evening.
Mrs. Bill Groneman and Mrs.
M innie Maye Kerr visited with
M rs. Cook last Friday morning.
Mrs. Elsie Sem rad and Mrs.
Ken visited M rs. Gladys .Schnaith-
man Friday. Mrs. Wade called
also.
Mrs. Calvert Harman and Mrs.
Chilcoat visited Mrs Hettie
Enfield on Thursday.
Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Elsie
Semrad called on Mrs. Minnie
M aye Kerr and looked at all
her lovely flowers, iris and roses.
Friday morning Mrs. Groneman

services Sunday morning at
Antelope Valley church.
