grades gave a play called The

ligious service was lead by Rachel

Mr and Mrs Homer Kirk and
family went to Skiatook Friday
evening to attend a surprise birth-
day party on their son-in-law

Mr Crawford went to Tulsa on
business
Ada Mae Strain returned to
school this week She has been
absent for several days due to ill-
ness A school board and teachers
meeting was held at the school
house Monday night
Sam Di !dine is still blasting
stumps On the 15-acre cleaning on
the Tulsa rural sanitarium
Brent Newham of Missouri a
nephew of Homer Kirk is to make
his home here
Mrs Charles H Fox and daugh-
ter El Louise of Tulsa were the
guests of Mr and Mrs Ward Al
len for the week-end
Mr and Mrs Moles of Sand
Springs with their three daugh-
ters and nephew vialted the Tulsa
rural sanitarium Sunday
Mr and Mrs Denzel Wilder of
Skiatook daughter of Homer Kirk
visited here this week
Mr and Mrs C A Streeter
were the hosts of the Tanglewood
Sunday school children at Mohawk
park last week Each youngster
carried a basket lunch All had a
good time in the truck ride fur-
nished by the hosts
Mr and Mrs Horten of Weld-
wa announce the birth of a baby

Herbert Lee of 8524 South Madi-
son of Tulsa was a guest at Cliff
Allen Jr Sunday
More than 85 school children
were the guests of Mrs C A
Streeter Friday afternoon at a
party given in honor of her son
George Olden Streeter
Gladys and Mabel Parrish were
unable to return to school this
week but are planning to return
next week Mabers wounds are
very much Improved
