smoke stack east of the city when

15 and 16 the show committee an-
nounced today following a session this

mon and pressed on southward
under heavy clouds
Drops in temperature were abrupt

car turned over after going into a

Elliott a salesman who makes hig
headquarters at the Whittington ho-
tel in Ardmore suffered a cut over
an eye and superficial bruises and
lacerations
The negro had severe bruises of
the chest and complained of inter-
nal pains Both were able to leave
the hospital and return to Ardmore
by bus while the machine was be-
ing repaired

today issued orders for his men to
arrest and jail any offenders who
are destroying or damaging prop-
erty in the course of their celebra-
tion Good clean fun will be encouraged
always as a part of the program
the chief said but any acts that re-
sult in danger or property damage

rectly from the Durant field was ar-
ranged The sound equipment will be lo-
cated near the M B Smith jewelry
store on West Paul avenue Pete
Green will be on the announcing end
and Art Baugh will operate the
