attended Harper Public
Schools. She married
Ira B. Hendricks on
Feb. 28, 1931. They
lived on a farm near
Jefferson and then in
the town of Jefferson
until 1941. They moved
to the Hendricks farm
11 miles southwest of
Wakita and resided
there until her husband
died in 1975. She
moved to Altus in 1976
to be near her daughter.
She was a member of
the First Christian
