and spending time with
her family.
She was preceded in
death by her husband;
parents; four brothers,
Monroe, Hubert, Johnny
and A.Q. Blankenship;
and a sister, Evelyn
Ewing.

son, Jim King and wife
Helen of Altus; a daugh-
ter, Rita and husband
Gordon Smalts of Altus;
four grandchildren, Perry
Smalts of Mustang, Jeana
and husband Mike Conn
of Duncan, Shellie and
husband Curtis Thornton
of Duncan and Shawn
Whorton of New Orleans,
the U.S. Army Reserve
for two years. He
enlisted in the United
States Air Force March
11,1957 and married
the former miss Kathleen
L. Talbot on July 13,
1960 in Greenleaf,
Kan. William was a
maintenance supervisor
at Altus Air Force Base
and retired following
22 years of service
on March 1, 1979,
attaining the rank of
Lane, Aug. 3-5. Dinner

1928. She was a lifelong
resident of Jackson Coun-
ty and attended school
at the Ozark School until
the fifth grade and gradu-
ated from Friendship
High School in 1946.
She married Andrew E.
King in Mangum on Nov.
10,1945 and he passed
away on Oc. 2,2001.
Imogene was a exception-
ally skilled seamstress,
she spent several years
as a supervisor at the
Kellwood plant, a former
clothing factory in Altus.
She was a licensed Beau-
tician and also owned
her own shop. She was
a member of First Bap-
tist Church, Altus and a
