(UP)—The house and senate of
the 17th legislature votes today
on three main reorganization bills
sought by Gov-elect Leon C
Phillips
The senate was reported ready
to relinquish' authority over the
highway and tax commission it
has held for ten years The third
reorganization bill involves the in-
dustrial welfare commission
Terms of its three members like
those of highway and tax commis-
sioners under the proposed bills
would run concurrent with the
governor
Committees in both houses took
the bills under consideration yes-
terday and were ready today to
report them back for a vote
Phillips Urges Passage

priations for military and naval
