Scott leadership will be conducted

nee Oklahoma August 17th to 21st
National scout leaders who will
be present for the school are Stan-
ley A Harris director of inter-racial
scouting Gunnar H Berg direc-
tor of mlunteer training anti Dr H
W Hurt research director for cub-
bing a younger boys program and
the writer of a number of manuals
on scout leadership In addition to
these men Regional Scout Execu-
tive James P Fitch and local execu-
tive H F Donnelley and others will
complete the staff of instructors
This will be an exceptional oppor-
tunity for scolt leaders through it
the state of Oklahoma to learn more
about the methods employed by the

immship training movement ever

miners scheduled to march on Steu-
benville O "for hunger" instead
planned a demonstration today to
protest the death of William K Si-
mon 11-year-o1d strike picket fat-
ally wounded in a clash between pick-
ets and miners
Simon the first victim of the
strike was a member of the National
Miners' Union and officials of the
organization said the demonstration
would be the largest since the walk-
outs started two iconths two Sheriff
