Democratic Nominee Charges
Republican Administration
Marked Mediocrity
KANSAS CITY Mo Sept 29 (LP)
—Senator Joseph T Robinson demo-
cratic vice presidential candidate
continued his campaign for western
votes in Columbia Mo today after
scrutinizing the republican platform
here last night in the hall where it
was adopted three months ago
The past eight years have witness-
ed an administration marked by med-
iocrity Robinson declared despite
boasts of the republican party in
their platform that the period was
notable for lofty achievement
Taking up the platform by plank
Robinson pointed out what he called
its faults before 10000 persons who
crowded into the convention hall
Egotism charged
"One must be ignorant or egotisti-
cal to take great pride in the way
the national government has been
mismanaged during the past adminis-
tration" the democratic candidate
declared
After charging that no measure or
policy of outstanding importance can
be cited to the credit of either Presi-
dent Harding or President Coolidge
