25 high school football players for
the South all-state football team

sive knd offensive signals for the
Panthers this year is a 4-year
letterman in football at Okemah
high school He is better than a
B student and is the president of
the student council
The two teams north and south
are composed of 50 of the best
players in the state with squad of
25 players each They will meet
in the annual 'all-state game at
Oklahoma City in August of next

to the post of assistant director of
region 14 of the National League of
Postmasters

master at Castle since 1942 and
has been active in the National

of Nebraska Kansas and Okla-
homa The region is comparable
to the Postoffice Department op-

pened about 2:45 pm Monday
when Rogers 'going soutlat crossed
the center line into the east lane
Mandrell was traveling North and
as the two vehicles met about 50
yards south of the Deep Fork river
bridge Mandrel' in an attempt to
avoid the collision pulled to the
west lane
Larmour said that about the
same time Rogers pulled back di-
rectly into the path of Mandrell's
vehicle
Mrs Mandrel' received a deep
gash over her right eye and a
bruised knee Mandrel' and Rogers
were not injured '
Larmour said Mandrell had seen
the pickup cross the center line
Into his lane and had slowed his
own vehicle almost to a stop before
the crash -
Rogers was fined $10 and costs
