new set up has been employed
on the WPA projects in Beaver
county
Under the old set up the WPA
employees worked 136 hours a
month and received S2100 Under
the new system they work only
88 hours and receive $2310 cents
This is a reduction of 48 hours in
the work and an increase in sal-
ary of $210
The method of receiving checks
has also been changed The work-
ers will receive their checks once
a month now instead of twice a
month as they have becn doing
