Th Okfuskee county 4-H club
rally was held in Okemah Fri-
day May 24 In spite of the rains
and muddy roads 243 girls and
boys participated in tho contests
The local 4-H club which is spon-
sored by the Homemakers Club
adult farm club made an excel-
lent showing and we are proud
of them and their coaches There
are always some silent workers
Who contribute Immeasurably to
these successes but wo are not
losing sight of them
As I viewed 95 girls from the
various clubs modeling dresses
I was impressed with the won-
derful spirit shown In this re-
view Doyle Carrett typical farm
girl who won the award last
year given by the Homemakers
club for outstanding achieve-
ment placed first in street dress
modeled by seventh-year girls
She was also Judged grand cham-
pion of the dress revue which
