BILL WOLVERTON SAYS
HE HOPES TO BE BACK
Editor Madill Record
Madill Oklahoma
1
Dear Sir:—
Just a few lines to let you know I aril
thinking of the old home town and the
many friends I have there
have been to see our old friend E R
Bridges and family It was certainly a
pleasant visit and I think Mr Bridges
will be up and going in the near future
I am not saying much about El Paso
but "stay where you are" and I hope to
be back soon!
They have crowded me into the deserts
Where you can't raise a balloon
Even tho' I can't speak Spanish
They expect me to catch them soon
I have made my last move I've figured
No Prohi has made good here
They've been killed fired and resigned
Some were transferred for
Even though I need the job to buy some
bread and meat
The letter that reads—"We don't need
you any more"
Will sound might sweet
Very truly yours
BILL WOLVERTON
