Fred Barton Democrat
Candidate for Sheriff
Mr Barton was a candidate for
sheriff two years ago and was
runner-up in the first primary The
nlany friends he made during that
campaign are very largely respon-
sible for his entry into the race at
this time They believe in his abil-
ity to make a good law enforce-
ment officer and will use their in-
fluence to help elect him
Fred Barton is qualified to fill
the office of sheriff and his repu-
tation for devotion to the cause of
right and justice makes him es-
pecially fitted for the office he
seeks He is worthy of confidence
and the serious consideration of
all those who participate in the
July primaries Should he be elec-
ted he assures all that he will
'strive to enforce the laws of the
state with fairness to all without
being fettered by campaign prom-
ises that would hinder him from
being an enforcement officer
