the Commencement exercises of
the Class of 1919 with Miss
Willa Bills as Salutatorian and
Miss Ethel Humphreys as Vale-
dictoran We were indeed fortu-

Dear Folks:
I received your ietter yester-
day and was glad to hear from
you Also received Otis’ letter
the lirst I have received from him
I am getting along fine but am
ready to start home but don’t
know when that wjll happen but
hope it wont be long
The French had some kind of a
big day to-day and there wasn’t
an American allowed on the
streets unless on duty and the
Main St (Rue National) was out
of bounds for every American 1
didn’t get to see any of the pa-
rade only from a distance while
on duty The parade wa a mile
from me but the people around
my post brought out all the field
glasses they had so I saw it pretty
well from a distance

has been back in the States?
Tell Mrs Graham that the 35th
Division ha3 left so no chance for
me to see Roy We have a few
boys from the Division in our
Company now but none of them
from Y C
Just read in the paper that the
S 0 S would be moved in two or
three months and headquarters
of the S 0 S is in Tours from
that I don’t thipk we will be here
much longer (can’t tell tho)
It is sure fierce here again as it
has rained every day this week
and is raining again to-night

charged with embezzling money be-
