Provided By

Rogers County Historical Society

The Rogers County Historical Society is a non-profit organization of community volunteers dedicated to preserving the heritage and landmarks of Rogers County, Oklahoma, in the cities of Claremore, Verdigris, Oologah, Foyil, Inola, and Chelsea. These places are unique to the history of Indian Territory, Oklahoma statehood, and our modern history. The RCHS has been instrumental in past restoration efforts of the Old Will Rogers Library, now the Claremore Museum of History where the Lynn Riggs Memorial is housed, and the Will Rogers Hotel on Historic Route 66. Both iconic buildings are located in Claremore. We currently curate Totem Pole Park in Foyil/Chelsea and the beautiful Belvidere Mansion in Claremore. We invite you to join us and become part of our story.
