NEW YORK, May 26.—(P— Mrs.
Oliver H. P. Belmont. president of
the National Women's party, sailed
on the Aqitania for Paris at mid.
nisht to join the equal rights dele-
gation to the International Suffrage
Alliance.
Miss Huth Morgan, third vice pres,
ident of the National Women's party,
recently stated that the group of
women headed ly Mis. Belmont
which will attend the suffrage alli-
ance will not officially represent
America. The National League of
Women Voters, whose delegation is
already In Puris. Is the only Ameri-
can member of the alliance, she said.
While in Europe Mrs. Belmont
plans to work toward formation of
an international organization of
women to obtain equal rights.
International organization of wom-
en is developing so rapidly now that
in the near future national victories
will count for but little, In her opin-
ion. Campaigns must be conducted
on a world scale, she said.
Chauncey Depew's advien, summed
up in half a dozen words, is moderm.
