Snow covers the campus

by Bill Smith
If on last Friday any furry little groundhog decided
to stay in his burrow, then he missed the sign which
tells all groundhogs just what time to set for their
alarm clocks.
Any groundhog who made it outside could tell
without using his shadow theory that the winter
weather was not over with the temperature in the
20 s and traces of snow still on the ground.
Weathermen are already listing this winter as one
of the coldest recorded, and February is predicted to
be much worse than January.
But if the groundhogs are anything like Eastern
students, they would rather sleep-in anyway.
