pledge to help Oklahoma develop
all the new jobs possible, made by
20 or more men who make the.r
living "buying, selling, and devel-
oping" new industry, Tues-
day night climaxed the visit of the
Oklahoma industrial tour here.
The pledge was made by Ben
Thorpe, past president of the So-
ciety of Industrial Realtors of Pitts-
burgh It came as a part of a din-
ner given for Oklahomans who are
interested in the same general
lines of business.
Present at the meeting were
such men as Harry P. Rider,
manager of the real estate depart-
ment of United States Steel; G. E.
Garnhart. manager of the real
estate division of Westinghouse;
Tom McCaffery jr , past president
of the National SIR, and James E.
Headley, president of the Pitts-
burgh terminal warehouses, who is
now president of the Pittsburgh’
group
