took a downward course on the
board of trade Wednesday,' mostly
because of a lack of support.
The market opened steady and
very quiet. It continued quiet but
not steady. Small selling orders
were able to have considerable m-
fluence on prices, particularly in
rye Rye is a normally thin market
and prices receded several cents
at times.
Moisture in the Texas panhandle
created a little selling in wheat.
Corn held up better than wheat,
although a few contracts dipped at
one time to new seasonal lows.
Soybeans and oats lost a little
ground.
Wheat closed H-M lower, March
$2.35'$2.36, corn unchanged to
