disappointed and disillusioned.
Why? Because it has been
made so commercialized and so
many children are not taught
the true meaning. The birth of

You know a band of people
anywhere working together for
the Lord is like an army going
into battle.
It has its casualties, its brave,
its heroes, dropouts, deserters,

MANNFORD
CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
"A Church for People on the Grow”
There is an ancient proverb that says: "If we do not change
direction we will most assuredly end up where we are
headed. ”
Regardless of the direction you are taking right now, you
can say "Yes" to a greater life through Jesus Christ and
experience a positive change of direction, join us at
Mannford Christian Fellowship this Sunday morning at 10:00
a.m. and Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. and learn more about
this direction which Jesus gives.
You ’ll be warmly welcomed with love and discover many of
the answers you seek. Jesus said *7 am come that you might
have life and have it more abundantly.” Say "Yes" to a
greater life.

true meaning should be taught.
I'll tell you this and close (time

at Christmas to the radio
preacher Baxter Sawyer in
Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was
made out to Jesus Christ and

Lavona Stark of Woodland,
California, wife of former Man-

recently spent two weeks in the
Mannford area visiting
relatives.
While here, Mrs. Stark visited
sisters Shirley Crane of Mann-
ford, Ruth Morgan of Sand
Springs and Frankie Hurt and
Barbara Wilson, both of
Waldron, Arkansas. Also a
nephew Leroy Allen and wife
Judy of Shamrock.
Mrs. Stark, returning for a
visit for the first time in 20
years, was reportedly impress-

progress of Mannford and sur-
rounding communities. She
returned home last weekend.
