Economic Indicators point to another banner
year for industry and agriculture, with production
and employment at “prosperity” levels. Contribut-
ing greatly to this economic growth is the purchas-
ing power made possible by rural electrification.
Each year the electric cooperatives in this
state purchase millions of dollars worth of in-
dustrial supplies, equipment and materials for
maintenance and expansion of their systems.
