respective localities We want
the news And dd not care te de-
lay this matter This plan can
serve us temporarily until tbe
county organization of this coun-
ty can provide better-
Beside this corps of good cor-
respondents we must have some
good-hustlers or field representa-
tive! and solicitors for each of the
four counties We want good
men live wires that can get busi-
ness We have ample equipment
and want to utilize it by enlarging
our subscription list and by ex-
tending our advertising patronage
as welt as turning out lots of job
work
We are going to pay well for
our solicitors and expect for them
to earn their pay See ad in an-

last meeting of the teachers of
Grant oounty for this year will be
held in the high sohool auditor-
ium in this city Saturday March
8 1913 Tbe following interest-
ing program has been arranged
for this oocasion:

la ok Lemon’s bill making $100-
000 of the consolidated school
fund available for the erection of
school buildings in consolidated
districts has passed and been
signed by the governor Consoli-
dated district No 1 in Grant
county will now get tbe money
they have been entitled to for sey-

rade Anderson was the Sooialist
nominee for County Attorney last
year He is making his spare
time count by hammering out a
full correspondence course in law

have a plaoe in the office of State
Auditor J C McClelland at the
atate capital We do not know
juat what his duties are to be but
he will likely be bookkeeper a

would have given more satisfaction
to the people generally We un
derstand that the place of chief
office clerk was offered W A Del-
ell not tbe News man the other
one Mr Pelzell has been in Or-
egon the paat five years and but

not Delzell is another man that
