Odie Ray Humphrey
Funeral for Odie Ray Humphrey,
78, Minco, will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, August 20, 1997, in
Minco United Methodist Church.
Rev. Mark Foster of Minco United
Methodist Church will officiate.
He was born October 15. 1918, at
Minco. He died August 17, 1997, at
Chickasha.
He married Louise Phelps on De-
.ember 22. 1940. north of Cogar.
Mr. Humphrey was a crop farmer
and dairy farmer in Caddo County.
He had lived in the community all
of his life.
Odie and Louise were active
member of the Minco United
Methodist Church and St. Mark's
United Methodist Church of Mis-
sion. Texas. They participated in
Lay Witness Missions in Northern
Ireland, England, Mexico, and vari-
ous states.
Survivors include two sons and
two daughters-in-law, John and
Linda Humphrey of Haskell, Kent
and Mary Humphrey of Norman;
two daughters and two sons-in-law,
Jo Nan and David Allen of Sand
Springs. Mary Ann and Gary
Hatcher of Minco; two sisters, Mrs.
Cora Pinkston of Minco, Mrs. Dora
Underwood of Tucson, Ariz.; one
brother, Burl Humphrey of Rogers,
Arkansas; 12 grandchildren and
four great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Evergreen Ceme-
tery, Minco, under the direction of
Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of
Minco.

"Hawthorne" Jaques, 43,
Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 21, 1997. in Bi-
ble Baptist Church.
She was born July 19, 1954, in
Chickasha, the daughter of Herman
and Levida (Johnson) Hawthorne,
and died Monday, August 18, 1997.
at her home in Chickasha.
Pamla managed the Fraternal Or-
der of Eagles Lodge and was past
president of the Fraternal Order of
Eagles 4070. She was presently
serving as State Auxiliary Chaplain
and was a member of the Fraternal
Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
She had been a manager at
Braums for nine years.
Pamla was preceded in death by
her father, Herman Hawthorne; and
one sister, Barbara Hawthorne Fish.
Survivors include one son and a
daughter-in-law, Jody and Laurie
Jaques of Chickasha; one grand-
daughter, Alyssa Jaques of
Chickasha; her mother and stepfa-
ther. Lavida and Bert Arnold of
Chickasha; five brothers, Sammy
Hawthorne, Neal Hawthorne, Jim-
my Hawthorne. Rick Hawthorne,
and Kim Hawthorne, all of
Chickasha; three sisters, Kay Wil-
liams, Janell Ludwell, Patricia Pool,
all of Chickasha; numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins; and special
friend, Jerry Elston.
Interment will be in Fairlawn
Cemetery under the direction of
Sevier Funeral Home.
