Miss Terry is a 1964 graduate of
McFarland high school, McFarland.
Calif., and is now residing with Mr.
and Mrs. Andy Vaught of Wells,

At Rotary Party
Sixteen foreign officers stationed
at Fort Sill, with other guests, filled
the Oklahoma College of Liberal
Arts ballroom at the annual Rotary
Club Christmas banquet Thursday
evening.
To emphasize the international
friendship theme, a row of colorful
flags of various nations centered the
banquet tables and formed the back-

Mrs. Edna Barnett, program lead-
er, introduced the guests. They
were Miss Myra Stevens and three

and Karin Thompson. The trio sang
"Rudolph, the Red Nosed Rein-
deer" and "All Through the Night".
Mrs. Lenora Cutshall read several
Christmas poems after which the
group sang "Silent Night," accom-
panied by Shari Thompson.
During the business session the
members voted to contribute to the
4-H Korean Fund. Mrs. W. L. Dixon
was made chairman of this project.
Instead of sending Christmas cards
to friends in Cement she and other
Garden Club members are sending
the money to Korea along with the
check from the club.
For roll call Mrs. Neal Wade led
the members and guests in unison
reading of "The Night Before Christ-
mas".
Following the gift exchange the
members were invited to be seated
at card tables where they were
served refreshments.

At Club Meeting
“Christmas Ideas and How to
Make Them," was the theme of the
Cement Garden Club’s Christmas
program held in the basement of the
First Christian Church of Cement
Thursday afternoon.

education department at Madison

she specializes not in drama but
in teaching dance.
Mrs. Marr, who will be remem-
bered by OCW classmates and Chick-
asha area residents as Mary Mil-
dred Hardiman, began her pro-
fessional training in Chickasha, con-
tinuing at OCW and was conferred
the muster of arts degree in theatre
and dance from the University of
Arkansas. She is a member of Phi
Beta Kappa, National Collegiate
Players, American Association of
Health, Physical Education and Rec-
reation, Amateur Fencer’s League
of America, National Federation of
M isic Clubs, National Dance Teach-
er’s Guild, American Association of
University Professors and is an asso-
ciate member of the International
Music Camp organization.
The former Chickasha resident is
listed in "Who’s Who Among Ameri-
can Women".

has held the post of director of dance
at the University of North Dakota,
Grand Forks, N. D., a position she
resigned to join the Madison Col-
lege faculty. While at North Dakota
U. she was appointed to the honors
faculty and served on the Fine Arts

directed group singing. Also, for
entertainment, Mrs. Lee sang a
number of Christmas selections.
Miss Ellen and Miss Nancy Everett,
sisters attending OCLA, presented
a group of appropriate musical selec-
tions.

Mr. Olds is a 1961 graduate of
Robinson rural high school, Robin-
son. Kans., and is an airmen second
clasp in the United States Air Force
stationed at Travis Air Force Base,
Calif.
The wedding will be January 8 in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vaught.
Following the wedding the couple
will make their home in California.
They will return to the midwest upon
his discharge from the Air Force.

Festival committee which each year
plans and directs a month long pro-
gram of major cultural productions
in all the arts. She was appointed
by the governor of North Dakota to
serve on the committee on arts and
culture of the North Dakota Eco-
nomic Development Commission.
Mrs. Marr was choreographer-
director of the Grand Forks Ballet
Company and was vice president of
the board of the directors of this
group. She directed the University
of North Dakota modem dance
group, Orchesis, and the Debonaires,
an exhibition ballroom dance group.
She is currently writing a textbook
on ballroom dance for secondary
and college level teachers, which
will be put out by Burgess Pub-
lishers of Minneapolis, Minn., dur-
ing the coming year. Mrs. Marr
served on the Committee for Sec-
ondary Physical Education Guide for
North Dakota and authored the mod-
ern and ballroom dance sections
of that committee’s publication.
Included in her varied career are
