Going Fishing?
Here's Howl
To hear Willie Welle and Basil
St rube arguing about trout fish-
ing. youd think it was more im-
portant than the atom bombi
Willie favors dry flies Basil
pooh-poohs anything but wet flies.
Willie swears by a Royal Coach-
man ; Basil wont hear of anything
but a Silver Doctor. And by the
time it comes to steel rods versus
bamboo rods . . . !X!T!
But on Saturday each got bade
from Sewards creek wilh a catch
that couldn't hare differed by i
than several ounces!
Each had used his favorite kind
of fly his favorite rod and his
favorite place to east. So over a
friendly glass of beer they al-
lowed as how maybe they were
both right . . . which is how ao
many arguments should end..
From where I ait if we all re-
spected one another's different
opinibne whether about treat
flies or drinking beer or voting
life would be a whole lot pleasanter.

REDBY KILOWATT
bur Electric Servant
A SPECIAL MEETING HAS BEEN CALLED by the city officials of Chickssha for the
purpose of voting a renewal of the electric and gas franchises for Public Service Company
of Oklahoma.
The poles wires and other electric and gas equipment necessary to serve Chickasha
cannot be placed on private property; therefore it must be placed iii the streets and al-
leys of the city. A franchise permit to place this electric and gas equipment in the
streets and alleys can be granted only by a vote of the people living within the city
limits.
The renewal of these franchises assures the citizens of Chickasha a dependable
and economical supply of electricity and gas. It assures Public Service Company suffi-
cient permanency and security of investment to enable it to furnish that dependable
si1; ply of electricity and gas at the fewest possible cost to its customers.
Ask any employee for further information.
Remember the date. It is your duty to vote on this special election.
