Hennings property just north of the
Church of Christ which was sold to
Mrs. Nora Jones. Mrs. Jones will
be on the Tuttle school faculty this
fall.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jeffries and
children and Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Langston are back from West Tex-
as and the Fknhandle.of Oklahoma
where they went for the wheat har-
vest. They reported the crop not os
good as last year.
A new organization in bring form-
ed in Tuttle. This Is Sri -auxiliary
unit of the Rocker-Wallace Post No.
110 cf the American Legion. A meet-
ing has been called for Thursday
evening of this week for the pur-
pose of organizing this group. Those
eligible for membership in the
Auxiliary are the wives mothers
sisters daughters of Legion mem-
bers and the mothers of those who
gave their lives while In service. The
Rooker-Wallace Post takes its name
from the first sailor and the first
soldier from Tuttle killed in action.
The sailor was Seaman Stanley
Rooker. son of Clyde Hooker and
the soldier Capt. Saehse Wallace
Army Air Corps son of Mr. and
Mrs. John Wallace. Capt Wallace's
wife and small daughter JBuzanne

Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Richard-
son west of Tuttle were notified
last week that their son 8'Sgt.
JacVy Richardson was on hi way
home. 8Sgt. Richardson was among
the Oklahoma men who were aboard
tlte 8. 8. Elizabeth which docked
last Wednesday. His English bride
will come later. He to a graduate of
Tuttle high school and attended
Cameron Junior College at Law-
ton and has spent two years over-
seas. Mr. and Mrs. Richardson's

with the navy in Illinois was ex-
pected home for a visit also.
