niversary of Qoethe." She told of
his life and works and tha Goethe
festival she attended in Aspen

business and social meeting with
the Orange group as host.

The group donated 35 to the
polio fund and 85 a box of can-
ned food and two quilts ware sent
to the Indian preacher and family
of Jay.

the 25 members and the one guest
Mrs. G. Y. Melton of Loe Angeles
at the luncheon.
Mrs. Newton Pickett and Mrs.
John Bryan were appointed aa
chairman and co-chairman of the
golf committee. Mrs. Chester
Cow en was appointed as card
chairman.

Reford Melton will assume to
duties of (he treasurer.
Golf bridge and canasta were
played during the afternoon. Mrs.
Cowen won the bingo prize and
Mrs. Melton was given the guest
prize.
Mrs. C. P. Mitchell won the golf !
boll in the play-off with Mrs. Mel-
ton from last week. This week
Mrs. Irene Parka and Mrs. Charles
I. Miller tied for low net. Mrs.
Bryan. Mrs. Stidham and Miss
Sarah Ellis ended with the three-
way tie for blind bogey. The
matches will be played off at a
later date.
Mrs. Stidham will be hostess
next week.
