FOL tree gets a skirt
The Festival of Light recently completed park improvements at Shannon Springs.
I ast week, canvas was installed around the bottom of the FOL tree. The canvas is a
terra cotta color that matches the trim on the bathhouse. The canvas will provide
shade to those who want to picnic under the tree. The cost of the project was $5,000,
according to Eddie Binyon. “The goal is to make the tree a year round facility,”
Binyon said. (Express photo by Brenda Moore)
